Custom Painting Commission Process

The production time for a custom painting is typically 20 days, but the overall process from inquiry to completion may take 1-2 months, depending on the needs and complexity of the painting. This timeline allows for flexibility, ensuring ample time for any necessary adjustments and confirming that the final piece aligns with the client’s vision. The price will vary based on size, medium, number of elements, and color scheme.

Commission Process:

1. Initial Consultation: The process begins with an email exchange or Zoom consultation where clients provide essential details about the painting: color scheme, the intended feel or aura, and the overall theme.
2. Mood Board Creation: Based on the provided input, Jessica Dilecce will create an inspiration guide and mood board featuring images that resonate with the theme, aiding in determining design elements, color schemes, and the overall vibe.
3. Approval & Edits: The mood board will be sent to the client in a PDF format for approval. Edits can be made to ensure full alignment with the client’s vision.
4. Creation & Updates: Once approved, the painting will begin. Over the next 5 days, initial stages of the painting will be shared via email or a scheduled Zoom consultation to ensure the piece aligns with the agreed elements.

For clients interested in recreating a style from previous works, similar pieces can be made. However, any modifications will still follow the mood board and design process.

Pricing:

There are three commission packages based on size, complexity, and medium. The following outlines price ranges and specific details for each:

• Small (12” x 16” to 18” x 24”)
  Price: $1,500 - $2,500
  Includes 2 main elements, 3 colors, and minimal detail. Ideal for simpler, more intimate pieces.

• Medium (24” x 30” to 36” x 48”)
  Price: $2,500 - $4,500
  Includes 3-4 main elements, 4-5 colors, and more intricate design features. Suitable for a more complex narrative and detailed work.

• Large (48” x 60” and above)
  Price: $4,500 and up
  Includes 5+ main elements, 6+ colors, and a highly detailed, expansive composition. Perfect for grand, statement-making pieces.
