ARTIST STATEMENT

"Eternal Rouge" is an expression of the intensity of my passion, conveyed through the vivid red flowers in full bloom. The deep red hues reflect the fire and energy that drive my creative process, an uncontainable force that seeks to capture the beauty and raw emotion of life. Each brushstroke is infused with this energy, translating my feelings into a visual form.

The flowers, vibrant and bold, symbolize the depth of emotions that inspire my work: love, desire, and the burning need to create. The vase serves as a grounding element, but it can barely contain the intensity of the blooms, much like how my passion for art cannot be held back. This painting is a manifestation of that overwhelming feeling, of pouring oneself entirely into creation, allowing the emotions to flow freely and powerfully onto the canvas.

The scattered petals on the ground hold particular significance in this composition. They represent the traces of passion that linger even as time passes, the remnants of intense emotions that have been expressed and released. These petals are the echoes of past moments, the physical evidence of an emotion so strong that it overflows, spilling out into the world beyond the vase.
